EAR CAP

Based on the Ear Cap for preventing and correcting ‘outstanding’ ears in the Wellcome Museum, London.  Its box shows a girl wearing it, with a speech bubble that says 'It's comfy'. Printed on the cap straps is an imagined story of its creation. The earwigs refer to the conclusion that you'd only wear it at night if you had a phobia about earwigs crawling into your ears.

‘"I know I have nice ears……… "

"They are all right now, but I had to work on them for months"’
